About Corelume Tech

We are an indie game studio on a mission to make high-quality gaming free, instant, and accessible to everyone through the power of the open web.

Our Story

Corelume Tech was born out of frustration with the modern gaming landscape. We grew tired of bloated 2GB mobile downloads, intrusive microtransactions, pay-to-win mechanics, and games that demand your entire hard drive just to get started. We asked a simple question: what if the best games were free, instant, and played directly in the browser?

What started as a late-night weekend project to recreate the nostalgic feeling of early 2000s browser gaming turned into a full-scale web entertainment platform. Our first game, War Tanks, was inspired by classic artillery titles like Scorched Earth and Pocket Tanks. We wanted to prove that a browser game could match — and even surpass — the gameplay depth of native applications, while loading in under two seconds.

Today, Corelume Tech hosts a growing library of original HTML5 games that have been played by thousands of users across the world. Every game is built entirely from scratch by our team using pure JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas — no external game engines, no bloated frameworks. Just lean, optimized code that delivers smooth 60fps gameplay on any device with a modern web browser.

Our Mission

At Corelume Tech, we believe that gaming should be a universal right, not a privilege. Too many great games are locked behind paywalls, expensive hardware, or massive downloads. Our mission is to demolish those barriers by creating high-quality, free-to-play browser games that anyone, anywhere, can enjoy — whether you're on a $200 Chromebook or a $3,000 gaming PC.

We focus on three pillars:

What We Value

🎯 Fun First

Every design decision starts with one question: "Is this fun?" If a feature doesn't make gameplay more engaging, it doesn't ship. We optimize for player enjoyment above all else.

🔒 Privacy by Design

Our games don't require accounts, don't track personal data, and don't sell your information. Your gameplay data stays in your browser's local storage — period.

🎨 Beautiful Craft

We believe browser games deserve premium aesthetics. Every pixel, animation, and sound effect is crafted with care to create polished experiences that rival native apps.

🌍 Accessible to All

Our games work on any device with a browser — Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, iPad, or Android. No expensive hardware required, no compatibility issues.

Our Technology

We don't rely on third-party game engines like Unity or Unreal. Every game in our library is built from the ground up using web-native technologies, which means our games are incredibly lightweight, load instantly, and run smoothly even on low-powered devices.

HTML5 Canvas

Our rendering engine draws directly to the Canvas API at 60fps for silky-smooth gameplay.

Vanilla JavaScript

Zero dependencies. Pure JS means faster load times and zero framework bloat.

Custom Physics

Hand-written collision detection, projectile physics, and terrain destruction systems.

Procedural Generation

Perlin noise algorithms create unique maps and terrain every single match.

Web Audio API

Dynamic sound synthesis and spatial audio without loading external sound files.

Responsive Design

Adaptive layouts that work seamlessly on desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers.
